Lynton & Lynmouth a Charming Harbour and Town
Lynton & Lynmouth is a two-tier town, a harbour on Lynmouth Bay and a small Victorian town on the cliff top. The journey between the two is made easier for pedestrians by the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway. Snuggling into a small bay on the rugged North Devon coast and close to the stunning Exmoor National Park this area has much to recommend it for a short break or staycation. Three easy walks - a gradual climb up Hollerday Hill, an easy stroll along the Coast Path to the Valley of Rocks and a footpath through a gorge to Watersmeet ensure everyone can fully explore this beautiful place.
